Great Escape is delighted to present A THEATRE CHRISTMAS EVE, incorporating A Christmas Pudding by David Birney, for limited performances this December. A THEATRE CHRISTMAS EVE will provide a perfect full evening of entertainment to warm hearts, stir memories and provoke laughter during the holiday season. First produced in Los Angeles nearly 20 years ago A Christmas Pudding has been reconceived and performed each Christmas since, in the great tradition of surprise and transformation of the season.

A THEATRE CHRISTMAS EVE is a Christmas celebration in song, story, and poetry; tales by Mark Twain, G. B. Shaw, Shakespeare, Longfellow Emily Dickinson, St. Luke and many others collected with a host of traditional carols and holiday songs.  For those who remember, A THEATRE CHRISTMAS EVE will be reminiscent of the entertainments offered by Mary Tinsley Young at the old Maple Grove Church over the years in the Marshall area.
